Victron Skylla-I GX control panel (90°)

The Skylla-i control panel is a remote control panel designed to work with all Skylla-i charger models. The Skylla-i charger uses the VE.CAN bus. Connecting the Skylla-i control panel to your Skylla-i charger is a simple procedure. Simply connect the two devices using an ordinary UTP (unshielded twisted pair) cable with two RJ45 connectors. Make sure that the two RJ45 bus terminators are correctly positioned at both ends. The Skylla-i control panel is supplied with two RJ45 bus terminators. Both the Skylla-i charger and the control panel have two RJ45 sockets which are connected internally. You can connect the cable to either socket.

Operation

When the bus is switched on, the Skylla-i control panel briefly switches on all elements. The software version number is then displayed, followed by the status of the connected Skylla-i charger. When the Skylla-i charger is switched off (standby), the panel will also switch off (all lights off) to reduce energy consumption. If the Skylla-i charger is switched on, the status LEDs show its current state of charge. The table below shows any LED indications that may appear during normal charging operation.
